QUALITY AND FOOD SAFETY POLICY

UAB “FRUSELA” is a manufacturer of dry food products (plant fat-based cream substitutes, dried fat blends, dried glucose syrup and similar products), a manufacturer of syrups (sugar syrups, various syrup blends, invert syrups, repackaging of syrups into smaller containers), and a manufacturer of dried dairy products (whey protein powders, milk protein powders and similar products). The company has implemented a quality and food safety management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 22000:2018. In the future, the company plans to continue modernizing production processes and pursue higher technological advancement, which would further improve product quality.

The employees of UAB “FRUSELA” are committed to complying with this Quality and Food Safety Policy, which will help them perform their work more effectively.

In order to satisfy consumer needs and expectations, ensure stable and profitable company operations, and provide social security for employees, the management of UAB “FRUSELA” sets the following objectives for itself and the entire team:

  1. Continuously improve operational performance, product quality and food safety, and comply with the requirements of ISO 22000:2018.
  2. Comply with legal requirements regulating the company’s activities and meet customer requirements.
  3. Analyze the needs of business partners and customers and strive to meet their expectations.
  4. Pursue mutually beneficial cooperation with customers, business partners and suppliers.
  5. Improve operational management by applying a process and risk-based approach.
  6. Do not use raw materials containing genetically modified organisms (GMO).
  7. Improve employee qualifications, ensure productive and safe working conditions, and maintain a good and safe environment.
  8. Require each employee to take responsibility for work quality, product quality and food safety.
  9. Apply advanced laboratory methods for evaluating product quality and safety.
  10. Contribute to environmental protection improvement. Increase energy efficiency by implementing renewable energy sources and reducing energy consumption. Carry out continuous air quality monitoring and pollutant emission analysis in order to respond in a timely manner and improve processes.
  11. Maintain the status of an attractive and stable company.
  12. Ensure that the Quality and Food Safety Policy is known, understood, implemented, reviewed and evaluated within the company so that it remains continuously effective.

Managers undertake to define specific departmental goals and tasks in order to ensure the effectiveness, efficiency and continuous improvement of the quality and food safety management system.

Employees strive to ensure that their activities comply with the provisions of the company’s Quality and Food Safety Policy and seek to achieve its objectives.

The company’s management guarantees the implementation of this Quality and Food Safety Policy and the provision of resources necessary to achieve the established objectives, and invites all employees to focus their efforts on fulfilling these objectives. Achieved results shall be evaluated periodically, at least once a year.
