QUALITY AND FOOD SAFETY POLICY

UAB “FRUSELA” is a manufacturer of dry food products (cream substitutes based on vegetable fats, dried fat mixtures, dried glucose syrup, and similar products) and dried dairy products (whey protein powder, milk protein powder, and similar products). The company has implemented quality and food safety management according to the requirements of the ISO 22000:2018 standard. In the future, the company plans to further modernize production processes, aiming for a higher level of technological change that will allow for even better product quality.

Employees of UAB “FRUSELA” are committed to adhering to this quality and food safety policy, which helps them perform their work better. To meet consumer needs and expectations, ensure stable and profitable operations, provide social employee welfare, and ensure safety for themselves and the entire team, the management of UAB “FRUSELA” has set the following goals:

  1. Continuously improve the quality of operations and the produced products and food safety, meeting the requirements of the ISO 22000:2018 standard.
  2. Comply with legal regulations (governing the company’s activities) and the requirements set by customers.
  3. Analyze the needs of business partners and customers and strive to meet their expectations.
  4. Seek mutually beneficial cooperation with customers, business partners, and suppliers.
  5. Strive for continuous improvement of management by applying process and risk-based thinking.
  6. Avoid using raw materials with genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
  7. Enhance employee qualifications, ensure productive and safe working conditions, and maintain a good, safe environment.
  8. Hold each employee accountable for work and product quality and food safety.
  9. Use advanced laboratory methods to assess product quality and safety.
  10. Contribute to improving environmental protection. Increase energy efficiency by implementing renewable energy sources and reducing energy costs. Conduct continuous air quality monitoring and pollutant emission analysis to respond in a timely manner and improve processes.
  11. Maintain the status of an attractive and stable company.
  12. Ensure that the quality and food safety policy is known, understood, and implemented within the company, reviewed, and evaluated to remain effective.

Heads department commit to setting specific departmental goals and tasks to ensure the effectiveness, efficiency, and improvement of the quality and food safety management system. Employees strive to ensure that their activities align with the company’s quality and food safety policy and aim to achieve its objectives. The company’s management guarantees the implementation of this quality and food safety policy and provides the necessary resources to achieve the stated goals, urging all employees to focus their efforts on meeting these objectives. Periodically, at least once a year, the results achieved will be assessed.
